We are continuing the tradition of the Jefferson County Dairy Breakfast
on Saturday May 30, 2009 from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Jefferson County Fair Park, 503 N. Jackson St., in Jefferson, Wisconsin.

Tickets are $7 at the door for adults or $6 in advance. Children are $3 for ages 4 to 12. Children 3 and under are free. Tickets are available at area Chambers of Commerce, including Jefferson and Fort Atkinson.

Our delicious breakfast menu includes farm fresh eggs, tasty fried potatoes, pancakes with syrup of course, Jones Dairy Farm sausage links, various types of cheese to choose from, topped off with you choice of milk, coffee, and orange juice. We will also be offering delectable dairy cakes and appetizing ice cream.

This year's breakfast will include an appearance by Alice in Dairyland, a Frisbee toss and other games for kids, wagon rides, antique tractors, a 300 pound banana split and a milk drinking contest, live music by "Variations" and radio broadcasts by WFAW and WTTN.

The 2009 committee members are (front row from left) Ron Ulsberger, Vicki Raatz, Marlene Zick.  Back row: Roger Klymanen, Sue Marek, Tom Chwala, and Janet Werner.

We are an all-volunteer group with all profits going towards the funding of youth education and the dairy industry.  The funds we raise will be going towards Agricultural Youth (educational teams, grant programs, scholarships), FFA and 4-H Improvements at the Fair Park, and Agricultural Grants. Our Financial Report is available to anyone upon request.

The organizing committee extends their sincere thanks to everyone who contributed money or food products, volunteered their time, or in any way helped make past events successful.
